AIDA 4 Master Freediver Course

We are happy to announce a new AIDA4 Master Freediver/Assistant Instructor Course. This course builds on the AIDA3 with emphasis on advanced technique, physiology, equipment, and safety. As Assistant Instructors, AIDA4-certified freedivers will be expected to possess demonstration-quality skills by the end of the course.

COURSE SCHEDULE: 

• Sunday February 24, 2024 9AM-11AM - Online Classroom Session 
• Tuesday February 27, 2024 7PM-9PM - Online Classroom Session
• Wednesday February 28, 2024 7PM-9PM - Online Classroom Session
• Monday March 4, 2024 - WVAC - Pool Session 1 - 7:00 to 8:30PM
• Monday March 11, 2024 - WVAC - Pool Session 2 - 7:00 to 8:30PM
• Thursday March 14, 2024 - Renfrew Pool - Pool Session 3 - 6:00 to 7:30PM

OPEN WATER SESSIONS:

The open water portion of the course will take place in June. Upon registration you can choose from 2 of the following three dates:

• Sunday June 2 4 2PM-5PM Open Water Session (Ansell Point)
• Sunday June 16 4 1PM-4PM Open Water Session (Ansell Point)
• Sunday June 30 4 1PM-4PM Open Water Session (Ansell Point)

The AIDA 4 is intended for freedivers who have completed the AIDA 3 (or equivalent with another training organization). First Aid / CPR is also a prerequisite.
